A Giveaway For The Dogs In Your Life

We are digging into another giveaway, but this time it’s just for the dogs.

Like the rest of us, our pets like to wake up to a full stocking on Christmas morning. Naughty or nice, Santa Claus is kind to Yoohoo, our Chocolate Lab. On Christmas morning, he usually finds a stocking filled with toys, biscuits, and a pig’s ear (his favorite treat of all!)

This year, Santa came a little early.

Aren’t I adorable? Don’t you want to give me lots of toys?

Hartz Dog Toy Giveaway

Last month, Hartz sent us a couple of dog toys from the Hartz Ultimate Pet Guide collection: the Run ‘N Romp, and the Dura Play Ball. This was quite the surprise as Yoohoo doesn’t usually have toys at home, except for the week of Christmas. We used to buy him toys, but they didn’t last. With his ferocious teeth and hearty appetite, Yoohoo can decimate a toy within days. The fact that these have lasted after weeks of active play is impressive.

The Hartz Run ‘N Romp isn’t just for dogs.

Who’s the alpha dog now?

I’m glad to be able to offer a Hartz Dog Toy Giveaway to one lucky reader! The winner will receive a Hartz Dog Toy shipped directly to them. Also, for all readers, Hartz is offering this coupon for $1 off Hartz Toy products (click here to view coupon).

But wait, that’s not all. We have a Giveaway for Capital Region Readers.

Lately, we’ve been doing a lot of weekend travel where we had to leave Yoohoo at the kennel. In case you’re wondering, he LOVES it there. The owner of Hair of the Dog treats him like one of her own, taking him home to play with her son. At the kennel, dogs feel like they are at home, as they lounge in a room with a sofa and TV.

And, since they offer grooming services, I appreciate bringing home a sweet-smelling dog after his stay at the Hair of the Dog Spa.

Hair of the Dog stocks all of Yoohoo’s favorite treats and supplies. They carry a good selection of toys too, and they are offering one lucky local reader a chance to take home a Loofa Dog toy when they visit the store.

Loofa Dog: Tug of War toy or pillow?

Dog Toy Giveaway Contest Rules

Giveaway #1 All you have to do to win is post a comment. That’s it.

You can say anything, well, almost anything. Woof! is fine. But, if you would like to be helpful, share your ideas for celebrating the holidays with your pet.

Giveaway #2 IMPORTANT: Tell me if you would like to be entered in the local contest. This is only open to Capital Region readers who are able to go to the shop to pick up their prize.

Deadline: Friday, December 17 at 6:00 AM.

I will use random.org to pick two winners. Once a winner is drawn I will contact them and the winner will have 48 hours to reply back before I draw a new winner. Giveaway is open to US residents only who are 18 years of age or older.

Good luck!

Great article. Love the photos of Yoohoo & his Dad wrestling over the toy! 🙂

Our new puppy would love to win some new toys!

David Foyt December 14, 2010 at 7:31 pm

Not a very flattering picture of me. YooHoo looks better than I do. You should have also mentioned that I won the tug-of-war.

Sandra Foyt December 14, 2010 at 7:39 pm

It would be more accurate to say that YOU WISH you won the tug of war.

I think we’ve found Yoohoo’s match – we dog sit a black lab named Morgan who, when left alone, will eat anything and everything in sight!!

Chanukah’s very early arrival this year meant I was unprepared to give Red dog a gift, so winning your contest would be great for him. I also have been maning to stop by Hair of the Dog, so entering (and winning) the local conest gives me that incentive to go!

Red is very happy, he says he is bored with his current toys, and is interested in seeing what else he can get me to buy him there!

Sandra Foyt December 18, 2010 at 4:31 pm

Chuckle! Yoohoo says Red is going to love Hair of the Dog!
