Mark your calendar, DRAMAcademics, the Educational Youth Theater group, will present:

clip_image001Steps to Suffrage, a Historical Musical Youth Drama, at The Boght Arts Center on November 10th and 12th.

Join Frederick Douglass, Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Lucretia Mott at the First Women’s Rights Convention in Seneca Falls, 1848. Susan B. Anthony, Theodore Roosevelt and Sojourner Truth join the ranks, while Amelia Bloomer barges in with a fashion statement!

Tribute to Wyoming, “The Equality State”. Eighty years of US women’s history, humor and highlights.

Where: The Boght Art Center, 583 Boght Road, Cohoes, NY 12047, 518-785-ARTS, www.boghtarts.org.

When: Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at 10:00am & 12:30pm, and Friday, November 12, 2010 at 10am & 12:30pm. 

Admission: $5.00 student, $6.00 adult, (teachers free), (DRAMAcademics is eligible for BOCES funding)

Note: Show is 75 minutes long, most appropriate for 4-7th grade students
