What happens when youth ARE the media?
Find out at the NY Shout Out: Youth Media Festival.
This youth media festival features the voices of youth active in organizations, including:
- Youth Media Sanctuary, with Missing Link Street Ministries and Upstate Girls; Troy
- Youth FX; Albany
- Y-MAP, Time and Space Limited; Hudson
- Green Guerrillas; Ithaca
- Tech Valley High School; Rensselaer
- Access LPCTV; Ludlow, VT
- Buffalo Youth Media Institute, Squeaky Wheel; Buffalo
- Niskayuna High School; Niskayuna
- Children’s Media Project; Poughkeepsie
When: Saturday, June 5, 2010 – 7pm – 10pm
Where: The Sanctuary for Independent Media, 3361 6th Avenue in North Troy, New York
Admission: by donation ($10 suggested, $5 student/low-income)
Teens: A “Be the Media” workshop for teenagers will take place earlier in the day, from 1-5. For more information, CLICK HERE.
