NY Shout Out For Youth Media

What happens when youth ARE the media?

Find out at the NY Shout Out: Youth Media Festival.

This youth media festival features the voices of youth active in organizations, including:

• Youth Media Sanctuary, with Missing Link Street Ministries and Upstate Girls; Troy
• Youth FX; Albany
• Y-MAP, Time and Space Limited; Hudson
• Green Guerrillas; Ithaca
• Tech Valley High School; Rensselaer
• Access LPCTV; Ludlow, VT
• Buffalo Youth Media Institute, Squeaky Wheel; Buffalo
• Niskayuna High School; Niskayuna
• Children’s Media Project; Poughkeepsie

When: Saturday, June 5, 2010 – 7pm – 10pm

Where: The Sanctuary for Independent Media, 3361 6th Avenue in North Troy, New York

Admission: by donation ($10 suggested, $5 student/low-income)

Teens: A “Be the Media” workshop for teenagers will take place earlier in the day, from 1-5. For more information, CLICK HERE.
