Presidents’ Week Events For Albany Kids

by Sandra Foyt

cmost There are so many fun things to do in New York with kids over Presidents’ Week, that I’d be here all night trying to type them all up for you.  Fortunately, I don’t have to as Capital District Fun has done a bang-up job already in Things To Do for February Break, Or Bring On Nine Straight Days Of Cold Weather And No School!

For a few more good ideas, check out MomXChange’s February Vacation Survival Plan Series.

Still looking for something to do this weekend with a slightly older crowd?  Look for Garbage Warriors, Rocky Horror, and Donna The Buffalo on All Over Albany’s Stuff to do this weekend.  Or, take a look at Nippertown’s local ArtBeat, with current and closing gallery exhibits and a chance to recycle old books into works of art, as well as the Weekend Roundup of the music scene.

I’m just going to add a couple more items:

That’s it for now.  It’s going to be a Jiminy Peak ski weekend for us, followed by a week-long  trip to NYC.  Have a fun and educational week in New York!
