Submission Guidelines

Have you discovered fun things to do with kids in New York (and beyond?) Can you share travel tips? Do you have an interesting family travel story?

Here’s how you can contribute to Albany Kid:

Whether you are interested in contributing a single article or a series, we would love to hear from you. You don’t need to be an expert travel writer – a passion for inspiring lifelong learners is the only credential you need.

Articles can be sent in the body of an email, or as an attached file. Typically, we prefer that blog posts be 500-1200 words, with at least one image. We will provide guidance and assistance upon request.

Submissions must include a short bio, profile image, and links to previous work. We will not accept submissions on behalf of clients or other parties.

Additional benefits for regular contributors include: bio and links on the Albany Kid About page, professional development, a platform for your passions, and the camaraderie of your peers.

Important Notice: While we are eager to encourage guest posts from individuals sharing personal stories, we reserve the right to refuse articles for any reason.
