If I had a nickel for every time a parent told me that they wished they could homeschool their child; well, I might be able to buy a soda with it. No, seriously, homeschooling isn’t hard. The difficulty is in contemplating jumping into the unknown.
Last spring, when my son and I were well into our last year of homeschooling, I went on the Fox 23 Parentology Show to talk about our experience:
We were joined by a dad whose experience was very different from ours, but the message was the same. There are as many ways to homeschool as there are families doing it, and there is no right way to do it. No matter how you choose to do it, it’s easier than you think.
If you are thinking about taking the plunge into homeschooling, I highly recommend talking to parents who are doing it right now.
