BlogWorld Comes to New York

Living in New York, we are fortunate to have access to some of the biggest and the best blog conferences. Next week, one of the biggest of them all, BlogWorld, will dominate the Big Apple.

I go to different conferences for various reasons. In August, I’ll return to BlogHer in New York City because its estrogen-infused energy inspires me in a way that no other conference does, and it’s a great way to connect with brands. Next week, I also expect to be inspired at BlogWorld, but it will be a completely different experience.

For one thing, there will be a lot more testosterone present.

The first time I attended BlogWorld, it was last spring when organizers were testing the waters in New York. Typically, the conference takes place out west. Last fall, I attended BlogWorld in Los Angeles, and in 2013 it returns to Las Vegas. That event is HUGE.

What I like about BlogWorld is that it gathers some of the most forward-thinkers, so that a three-day conference puts me ahead of the curve in knowing what to expect in new media. That’s invaluable no matter what topic you are writing about – even if you’re still bridging publication platforms. Maybe especially then.

Disclosure: I was selected to participate in the BlogWorld Ambassador Network through a program with SocialChorus. I was not compensated for writing this post but have been entered into a contest.
