Creative Writing for Teens with Kathe Izzo

Sat. Sep 18, 2010 from 1:00pm – 4:00pm

Student writers ages 13-18 explore their own voice and style through writing games and activities designed to bring their writing to the next level. The end of writer’s block forever. Excellent for all writing genres. Led by poet Kathe Izzo.  Also helpful for other artistic mediums as a think-tank and problem solver.

Kathe Izzo is a published poet and essayist with work in numerous journals, including The American Bible of Outlaw Poetry.  She is currently the artistic director of Voice Teen Radio, a youth radio writing project of Great River Arts Institute and Wool Radio in Bellows Falls, Vermont as well as working in a variety of mediums as a creative process consultant and youth advocate.
