My husband has been fly fishing since last summer when he purchased the fancy rod, hip waders, and flies guaranteed to lure the most reluctant trout. He’s been taking lessons, reading books, and traveling to streams where you can practically open a bag and watch the fish fly in, eager to be caught. After all this, he still has to bring home a single fish.
Meanwhile, our daughter caught three trout the first time she tried to fly fish, and she never fails to land the most fish in our family.
