It’s not easy finding fun things to do with teens, and eliciting genuine enthusiasm often seems like an impossible dream. As if it wasn’t hard enough to persuade one child, you usually have to convince at least two since most teenagers don’t want to go anywhere without a friend.
Sure, you can get them to go for the old standbys, movies and the mall, but sometimes you want them to try something new and maybe get a little exercise too.
Here are five activities in the Capital Region that are popular with teens, and that get them moving too:

One bowling alley left off the list is the Playdium in Albany. It’s tucked a few blocks off the main drag, and when you get there, you’ll wonder what it’s doing in the middle of a residential neighborhood. Also it has one of the great illuminated signs of the region.
